For over 17 years I have been a medical massage therapist specializing in medical and prenatal massage. I worked in day spas and had a successful private medical massage practice on 57th Street for a number of years. I calculated that I have performed over SIXTEEN THOUSAND MASSAGES over the course of my career!
Before I started Spa Chicks ® in 2003, I created Mama Spa - a traveling prenatal spa. My goal was to bring prenatal pampering to the homes of stressed out pregnant New Yorkers (and high profile pregnant celebs) as well as educate patients, healthcare practioners and general public with prenatal spa guidelines. Currently we offer a range of services from prenatal massage, Daddy-O massages and partner massage instruction.
As a Prenatal Spa Expert I have been quoted and featured in Fit Pregnancy, Health, Timeout, Urban Baby and Prevention Magazine. I was thrilled when a national news channel contacted me last week to be featured on their upcoming Prenatal Safety story.
