Right now I think I am hot. This is a big deal for me, as I just had a baby boy 5 months ago and haven't been feeling very sexy at all. I don't think that sexy has a size - it's totally your state of mind. If you believe it, then you are. I've been "plus size" for years to varying degrees and for the most part have always felt good in my skin. It's just the last year with the pregnancy, the hormones, the stress...not so much.
When my friend and photographer Lily Kesselman started her new division called URBAN BOUDOIR and asked me to pose, my first reaction was "not now, not ready". Even on the day of the shoot at my friend brownstone, as my son Ryan was screaming for reasons unknown, I thought "not now, not ready". But then something happend. My friend took the baby to another floor. I put on 4 inch heels (loaned), laced up the satin ribbons to my knees (thanks Brian) and BOOM - I was sexy again. Like riding a bicycle...it all came back.
So the woman who helped me bring "sexy back" is Lily Kesselman. She's a big shot wedding photographer here in New York.
